BACKGROUNDS
WALLPAPERS
What follows is a screenshot of the "WebEd 4" online program that you will be using to make your slides.
If you wish to introduce wallpaper (a repeated small background image) into your web pages, you are advised to also introduce a background image (as
explained above) to act as a guide. It can be plain white, or any other colour you choose, because it is only temporary.
First, go to the "File" Menu and choose your Wallpaper:
GRAPHICS PACK
You will find 3 sets of graphics in the Supershow Presentation Graphics Pack:
1. Backgrounds
2. Wallpapers
3. Examples
The examples consist of web pages and corresponding captured images, made according to the Supershow Presentation Method.
They are meant to give you a rough idea of the kinds of things you can do.
The backgrounds and wallpapers are for use with the following online program to produce web pages in the first stage of the Method:
Two sorts of backgrounds are offered, "plain" and "gradients":
If you want to make more backgrounds of your own, then you can do it in programs such as Adobe Photoshop:
If you do make your own backgrounds, then they need to be of this size:
Such backgrounds are normally introduced as a Picture Widget into the top left hand corner (position 0,0 pixels) of the web page being designed.
Thereafter, they serve not only as a background to the particular slide under construction, but they also function as a guide to the outer limits that
may be occupied by other smaller Picture and Text Widgets. This is illustrated in the Supershow Presentation instructions.
However, if you wish to include a border or frame around your background picture, do it before introducing the background into the WebEd 4 Webpage
Editor.
You can do this using the BorderIt MULTI application:
Then create a picture widget to place a background in the top left hand corner:
Now, you can design your web page on top of the background guide:
And finally remove the temporary background:
EXAMPLES
A number of example presentation slides, such as the one which follows, have been included in the Graphics Pack to give you an idea of what is possible
using the Supershow PLUS Presentation System.
Hopefully, your efforts will be more attactive than what I am able to achieve personally!
